How they met: On a research trip to Alaska as BYU biology majors

What they love about Forge: “We went to 5 different stores before stumbling on Forge. As soon as we walked into the store the atmosphere was already way better than anywhere else we had looked—stress free. The focus was all on us and helping us find/design exactly what we wanted without a pushy sales person. Everyone at Forge was knowledgeable, helpful, and fun!”
Their love story: Samantha and Michael had bumped into each other a few times, but they officially met in July 2017 on a research trip in Alaska. While they were fishing, Michael literally caught Samantha by catching her line several times! When the two finished their trip, they started dating almost immediately. Then, in June 2018 on another fishing trip, Michael told Samantha she was “the best catch of [his] life” and asked her to marry him. On October 12th 2018, they made it official! In Samantha’s words, “there are plenty of fish in the sea, but Michael is the one for me!”
